Ramón Soler, a volunteer with the Red Cross, member of ADG-FAD, and creative director at Buenaventura studio, talks to us about the design and implementation of a successful model for supporting at-risk children and their families (El Pinar Social Center for Child Care in Loja, Granada).
He is joined by Verònica Fuerte (Hey), Cristina Sardá, and Javier Jaén to share their experiences and reflections from their participation in “Creativity at the Beginning,” a Red Cross initiative born at El Pinar. Here, creativity serves as a means to empower and positively impact the most vulnerable children.
The scenario left by the Covid-19 crisis urges us to further highlight the ability of design professionals to activate the potential of creativity as a transformative tool for society.
