Founded in 2013, Mr. Boho is an eyewear brand recognized for its cosmopolitan style, dynamic flair, and natural character. They needed a rebranding to update their visual narrative to the current moment of the brand.
Our proposal was based on creating a custom typography, which we worked on alongside Laura Meseguer. The concept originates from the history of early eye protection experiences, specifically within the Inuit community, who devised a tool to shield their eyes from the sun and the glare of the snow.
In our exploration of their culture, we delved into Inuktitut, a syllabic writing system commonly depicted as a syllabary.
This custom typography resolves the brand’s rebranding and endows it with personality and versatility in its graphic contexts. It establishes its own visual language, orderly and exclusive, adding strength to a world as editorial and fragmented as the fashion industry.
